Kettlebells

We have a dedicated Kettlebell session on a Tuesday night 7pm at Dulwich College Sports Club and Wednesday at Women's bootcamp.

Kettlebell training is a great way to get you strong and lean. Kettlebells are designed to move in such a way that it enables you to lift a considerable amount using momentum. The curved handles allow you to move the weight in a much more efficient way than a dumbbell.

Kettlebells are a metabolic boosting tool designed to work you at a high intensity and increase your fitness levels fast as well as conditioning your body as a whole.

Within our programs we use timed circuits, pyramids, AMRAP's (as many reps/rounds as possible) and high repetition drills. Advanced lifting is using two kettlebells and this is a really great way to advance your lifting techniques and make you burn more fat by recruiting more muscle fibres.

What results can I get From this kind of training?

Kettlebells & Bulgarian bag training work every inch of your body from your hamstrings & glutes to your back muscles, deep core and upper body.

Not only are they great for toning the muscles all over your body like no other workout, they are also great for building strength, helping with balance and helping in the prevention of back issues. They are highly cardio tool which can have you working at 80% of your maximum heart rate.

They are used in a variant of ways, from swinging to push pressing, to snatching. Kettlebell lifts are compound exercises which mean they work more than one muscle group and really push the body to its limits.

The Bulgarian bag is a unique training tool that is used to spin, snatch and throw around your body in a variant of ways. Targeting every inch of your body you will never experience anything like it!!
